LARKSFIELD PLACE

Wichita, KS

As this community began to age, it realized it needed additional independent living apartments that would serve a changing demographic. The project consists of 25 apartments ranging in size up to about 1,700 square feet. The entry fee apartments were rapidly occupied and aided in providing additional financial sustainability for the life plan campus

ELM CREST SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY

Harlan, IA

​

Located in a rural community, this life plan campus saw the need for senior independent living apartments in order to maintain continuity with the remainder of the campus as well as maintain residents within the town. This 25 apartment unit building with ample social spaces provided for that need. Apartments ranged in size from a modest 650 square foot one bedroom to a two bedroom just under 1,000 square feet.

VENNEJHEM RETIREMENT COMMUNITY

Decorah, IA

​

This nursing home client wanted to expand their services to seniors. The result was a new 52 apartment development set on 40 acres on the edge of town and intended to be the first phase of a plan that would also move their skilled nursing and assisted living to the site.

Topeka, KS

​

One of the last permitted retirement service centers under the discontinued HUD finance guarantee program, this 3 and 4 story independent retirement living project included one and two-bedroom apartments, central dining and an open central atrium.

WALL STREET PLACE

Bellevue, NE

​

Located in a growing suburb of Omaha, this 60 apartment development provided one and two-bedroom independent retirement apartments close to commercial and cultural amenities. The development included a wellness center, large community activity spaces, full dining room and under-building parking.

Pleasant Prairie, WI

​

This concept plan in a suburb of Milwaukee provided a variety of apartment sizes for the 55+ senior living market and included amenities designed to attract the active adult market segment.

NEW ALDAYA LIFESCAPES

Cedar Falls, IA

​

As part of a life plan community repositioning, New Aldaya wanted to expand their independent living retirement apartment inventory. The solution was to blend the architecture with the existing, add additional options for the market, but not compete with themselves for that market.
